With football season wrapping up, things might be a little quiet on the fantasy writing front for a little while. When baseball activity picks up, I’ll make sure to post the details here, and update this site more often with links to my work. Have a Happy New Year!
Fantasy football and me
September 13, 2010Below is a list of places where you can find my fantasy football analysis this season – enjoy!
- My weekly Wide Write fantasy football column has returned to FOXNews.com for a fourth consecutive season. Each edition will feature a Start/Sit/Pickup recommendation for QBs, RBs and WR/TEs. Here’s a link to the Week 9 edition – I’ll try to update this every week, since there’s no archive page this season.
- The ever-changing world of running back committees is reviewed each Thursday in my column on FOXSports.com. Check ‘em out in my column archive.
- As always, I’m writing my fantasy-oriented NFL news blog at FOXSports.com on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. It’ll be published by 8 a.m. ET – or maybe 8:15 after nights when I stay up to watch late football games or The Colbert Report.
- The Fantasy 15 podcast, co-hosted by Mike Harmon and me, airs each weekday (and can be downloaded from iTunes). I’d say it’s the best 15 minutes of fantasy analysis available, but I might be a little biased.

Fantasy 15 podcast
April 27, 2010In case you didn’t already know about this, FOXSports.com colleague Mike Harmon and I are co-hosting a 15-minute fantasy podcast every weekday afternoon (times vary, but we usually start at 2:30 p.m. ET). Football, baseball, you name it.
You can find the podcast at fantasy15podcast.com or on iTunes. Tell your friends!
Spring training
February 20, 2010Hi, folks. I’ll be working to improve this site in February and March, with the goal of having it at full strength by Opening Day. It’ll be used to showcase some of my work, provide useful information to potential clients and readers, and maybe even host an interesting blog post on occasion.
As I’m writing this, I definitely haven’t settled on the appearance, so don’t be shocked if this page looks very different every time you come for awhile. If you’ve got any suggestions for good-looking (and free!) WordPress themes, let me know.
If you’d like to contact me about some consulting or writing work, please send me an e-mail at john.halpin@yahoo.com.
Thanks.
